The AMXM is an open technical resource owned by EUROCAE / RTCA. The AMXM is provided in support of AMDB data exchange.Multiple user groups benefit from using AMDBs, such as pilots, controllers, aerodrome managers, and aerodrome emergency/security personnel.
The AMXM is a collaborative effort of EUROCAE WG-44 / RTCA SC-217 partners. This promotes interoperability in the context of SWIM industrialisation.
AMDBs are further specialised for cockpit use as part of the ARINC 816 format for embedded AMDBs.
